Sapphire Healing Center

The collaboration between modern science and alternative medicine practices gave birth to Naturopathic medicine. Accentuating prevention and optimal health using therapeutic methods to stimulate the body’s inherit ability to heal itself, naturopathic medicine is a distinct area of expertise combining traditional, conventional, and evidence-based medicine. At Sapphire healing center, we focus on You-centered care. We emphasize on personalized care and take the time to learn about your individual symptoms, in-depth history, and comprehensive functional labs to unravel the underlying cause of your illness instead of surface alleviation of your symptoms with quick fix solutions.

What to expect on your initial naturopathic consult?

Your first visit with the naturopathic doctor is to establish your relationship, get to know you and your lifestyle and identify your health goals. In addition to your completed health intake questionnaire, we encourage you to bring all your previous health records to further evaluate and assist in ordering more detailed and comprehensive lab work. This visit may last 60-90 minutes depending upon the complexity of your health conditions.

What to expect on follow-up visits?

The first follow up visit entails the explanation of your functional labs, identify the source of illness, and create a treatment plan.

On-going visits target lifestyle and nutrition modifications, progress of treatment course and maintenance of healthy trajectory.

Each follow-up visit is determined by patient’s health development and can range from 45 minutes, 30 minutes and 15-minute consults.

We strive to create easy accessibility and uncomplicated care from the comfort of your home. All the above naturopathic care and consults can be accomplished as telehealth visits over our secure and HIPAA complaint software system. You can call us or directly book your appointment on our website.

Platelet Rich Plasma injections use patients own blood to stimulate healing and stem cell rejuvenation at injection sites. PRP consists of two elements: plasma, the liquid portion of patients own blood and platelets: a type of blood cells that well-known to play an important part in the healing process. Platelets are known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and can stimulate tissue regeneration in the injected area.

Platelet Rich Plasma injections are used for a variety of treatments including:

  • musculoskeletal injuries: tendon/ligament injury, post-surgery, chronic injury, osteoarthritis
  • cosmetic procedures like facial PRP: for acne scars, wrinkles, collagen formation and stem cell regeneration
  • Hair rejuvenation and regrowth

Prolotherapy is another injection procedure using dextrose solution with an anesthetic to relieve pain at the injection site. Dextrose acts as an irritant that stimulates an inflammatory response to jumpstart the body’s innate ability to heal. It is mostly used for musculoskeletal injuries of bone degeneration, chronic pain, osteoarthritis. This is a natural way of healing joint pain without the
use of steroid injections that can cause several adverse reactions and long-term complications. Depending upon the source and chronicity of pain and injury, a patient might need multiple injections to help heal the injured area.
